New Year's resolutions: film screening of 'Tomorrow'

Young Friends of the Earth Scotland is kick-starting the new year with a forward looking event identifying the changes we want to make happen in 2018.
 
We will be screening the award winning film "Tomorrow" which looks at positive and creative solutions to issues around energy, food, economics, transport and education.
 
We will be then discussing our goals for the coming year and identifying some key targets and practical steps that could be taken to achieve them. 
 
Open to all!
 

Free Festive Dinner

A free meal made with fully found and foraged foods. Everyone welcome. Music/ entertainment afterwards.

SCCAN Climate Bill workshop - Glasgow

West of Scotland Regional Equality Council, Lambhill Stables and the Scottish Communities Climate Action Network invite you to a facilitated workshop. You will get a chance to:
 
  • Hear about the Scottish Government's proposed new Climate Change Bill, 
  • Discuss how the new legislation might affect your life and work locally, and 
  • Give your views on what's needed for the Bill to work for your community.

Gloucestershire’s Climb for Climate
Stroud, Sunday 21 September

 

Walk starts at The Subscription Rooms and ends in rally and picnic in Rodborough: 1.5 km steep walk uphill!

We will be part of a Global Day of Action to highlight the need for international agreement on capping carbon emissions.
