Are you campaigning on issues of climate, social or environmental justice, or have you thought about getting involved? Join Young Friends of the Earth Scotland for our biggest event yet, a weekend in Pitlochry from 6th-8th April to get you skilled up for taking action on the issues you care about.
Our grassroots network is growing and encompasses young activists engaged in many exciting projects and campaigns. This weekend will provide an opportunity to share skills, resources, ideas and experiences, engage in collective learning, and meet likeminded young people from across Scotland. It doesn't matter whether you’ve been campaigning for years or are just taking your first steps into activism, this weekend is open to you!
The weekend will be designed and run by young people to ensure it as effective and useful as possible. Please let us know what you would like to learn more about and what skills you could share with others. Sessions can be practical, creative, theoretical, historical, musical, educational. They can be on anything from creative activism, to mushroom identification, to badge making, to campaign strategy. You get to decide!
