This one day conference will focus on the issue of climate justice, providing an additional perspective to the one embedded in the Climate Change Bill that is currently going through Parliament. The day will be split into four sessions:
Session I: How deep is the climate change crisis?
Session II: Panel - Perspectives on Climate Change. The focus will be on the intersection between climate justice and age, gender, ethnicity and race.
Session III: Breakout Groups on Aspects of Climate Change. Facilitated by Session II panelists, this session will give attendees the opportunity to discuss how the topics covered in Session II are relevant for specific areas of the Climate Change Bill, including agriculture, industry, transport and electricity generation.
Session IV: Keynote Address.
